From the bush to the city and back againMy Story
I was born on a farm in Coonabarabran and grew up in towns like Coonamble and Dubbo. After years working in Sydney and Newcastle in fashion, wellness and e-commerce, the pull of home was too strong to ignore, so I moved back.
When I returned, I noticed something straight away: regional businesses were doing amazing things… but most of them were stuck with DIY branding, confusing tech, or websites that didn’t reflect who they were anymore.
They weren’t looking for a big agency or some flashy, out-of-touch solution. They just needed someone who understood country business, could speak their language, and help them sort it all out.
That’s why I started Prairie Studio. Not to make things “cool.” To make them clear.

I’ve spent more than 20 years working across beauty, fashion, wellness and lifestyle. Over that time, I’ve done a bit of everything: sales, product development, digital marketing, graphic design and website design.
I’ve worked inside brands, built my own e-commerce businesses, and freelanced for clients all over Australia. That mix of experience is why I can offer it all in one place: strategy, branding, websites, SEO, email marketing, content creation and more.

I enjoy sewing in my spare time, whether it’s something useful or just a bit of creative fun.

From watercolours to quick sketches, I love anything that involves paint, pencils, and a quiet moment to create.

Once I moved back to the country, something came over me and I suddenly became a bird watcher. Personal favourites? The cheeky willie wagtails and the superb fairy-wrens.
